Integrative Chiropractic and Natural Medicine Expanding With Trinity Chiropractic
Dear Trinity Chiropractic Patients and Family,
I have already had the opportunity to meet some of you and I wanted to thank you for the warm welcome I have received so far. For those of you I haven't met, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and let you all know about some developments at Trinity Chiropractic and Natural Medicine.
As most of you know, Dr. Song has been unable to return to practice after a health event in October of 2020. Sue and I reached an agreement for the acquisition of Trinity Chiropractic and I will be taking over as your new Clinic Director. Usually, letters like this are meant to be exciting for both the seller and buyer; however, taking that tone given the circumstances would be unfitting. While I am excited to expand our existing clinic and help more people, it is definitely a bittersweet moment for all involved.
Known simply as Dr. Jen to many in the area, I have been taking a holistic approach with my patients since I began practice in 2008. At my practice, Integrative Chiropractic and Natural Medicine, I have been providing chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage, and nutrition services in the Indian Trail area since 2012. I will be accompanied by Dr. Chris Wright in providing care at Trinity Chiropractic. We are supported by Dr. Blake Klessig, Dr. Shelby Forrester, Acupuncturist Susanna Yeung, and Dina Giugliano LMBT at the current clinic in the Sun Valley area.
I had been looking for an opportunity to expand since January 2021. We had several failed attempts during the process to find a location in the surrounding area. After meeting with Sue in Fall, I felt very strongly those previous opportunities were not met be and I was needed here. In talking with Sue, I learned how similarly Dr. Song and I approach the way we provide care to our patients.
I know change can be a bit disconcerting, so I want to be perfectly clear on what you can expect in the months to come. Rest assured, Dr. Song and I share the same nutritional and "root cause " philosophy. So the techniques, supplements, and care plans will remain the same as they have been. Also, there will be no changes to your fees or payment plans. The care team, techniques, and nutrition you have come to love and trust will always be here.
I am also not naïve enough to think I can just replace Dr. Song. In my view, a relationship forged through years of love, care, and collaboration between doctor and patient does not simply get replaced. Rather than a "replacement", I am simply a doctor who loves helping her patients. I look forward to meeting you, and I promise to do everything possible to be the best doctor I can be you for. Thank you in advance for this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Jennifer DeGaray
To Our Trinity Chiropractic Patient and Family,
Over the past 17 years, it has been my husband's sincere pleasure to be your doctor. Dr. Song has always thought of Trinity as a huge family and has always tried to do his absolute best to take care of everyone. He absolutely loved going to work, and seeing the patients get better was his reward. We want to thank you for your continued support through the many years of his practice.
Unfortunately, there has been a medical emergency that has taken my husband away from the practice that he has built and love so much. He has been recovering at home and has made a lot of progress, but due to the extent of his health, he will need more time to heal. With much regret, I am sad to tell you that Dr. Song will need to leave the practice to continue with his recovery. It was a very difficult decision to make but for the care of our patients, I think it was the right one. We would like all our patients to receive the best care possible.
With sad emotions that I must inform you that we have decided to sell the practice. It was a very difficult decision to make. As many of you know my husband's passion for Trinity Chiropractic, his loving patients, and dedicated staff meant the world to him.
After much consideration we have sold the practice to Dr. Jennifer DeGaray. Dr. DeGaray has been in practice since 2008, serving the Indian Trail area for the last 10 years at her primary practice, Integrative Chiropractic & Natural Medicine. She has the right combination of experience and philosophy to continue the high level of care you have been become accustomed too.
Dr. Jen was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she completed her undergraduate studies with honors at Temple University, and then moved on to obtain her doctorate degree at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. DeGaray and her husband Michael DeGaray now live in Waxhaw, North Carolina with their five children: Michael, Samantha, Emerson, Alex & Evie. Please give her a warm welcome with an open mind.
While we are confident that we are leaving you in capable hands, your medical records will be available under Dr. DeGaray's care. If you need access to them, they will remain on file at Dr. Song's former office (12043 Guion Lane, Matthews NC 28105).
We want to thank each and every one of you that was a part of Trinity Chiropractic. We will miss you dearly. God bless you on your journey to optimal health.
Sincerely,
Dr. Hojoon Song and Mrs. Sue Song
